How to get it paid for.

Your school budget (and in secondary schools, Perkins Grant funds) is the logical starting point for funding the purchase of SawStop table saws. But don't stop there. There are many individuals and organizations in your community that will embrace the opportunity to support local schools, protect students, and promote healthy vocational programs. Look to these groups:

  • Your school PTA
  • Your local, district, and state school board association
  • Your district risk manager
  • Community service groups (e.g. Shriners)
  • Manufacturing companies
  • Construction companies
  • Manufactured home builders
  • Lumber companies
  • Furniture companies
  • Boat builders
  • Architects
  • Hospitals
  • Your school’s insurance company
  • Doctors and surgeons (especially hand surgeons)
  • Safety organizations
  • Labor unions

There are also safety and CTE grants available from national and state organizations that may help finance your purchase of SawStop saws. In some cases, you must be a member of the organization to qualify for the grant.
