Support Your SawStop Table Saw with an Outfeed Table

Table saws work perfectly to crosscut and rip lumber and sheet goods to size, but what happens when those workpieces are so long or large they become unwieldy? You need additional support to hold those workpieces at the same level as the table saw top as you feed them through the blade. That’s where you need an outfeed table.

An outfeed table is just as it sounds: A table positioned on the outfeed (post-cut) side of the blade to support the workpiece. This can be a table you make from lumber and plywood, MDF, or melamine particleboard. Or it can be one you purchase. Although you can find various outfeed solutions at retail, only SawStop’s Folding Outfeed Table (TSA-FOT) comes ready-made to fit all SawStop cast iron table saws.

The SawStop Folding Outfeed Table is made from durable steel square tubes and bars, with strategically placed rollers to help workpieces glide across. (You can install up to four additional rollers, if desired; available at the SawStop Parts Store [https://www.sawstopstore.com/].) This table mounts to the rear rip-fence rail (all hardware included) and folds down when not needed, if having that extra floor space proves crucial in your shop. Two sturdy legs unfold to hold the table upright, with adjustable feet that allow you to level it perfectly with the table saw top. The SawStop Folding Outfeed Table holds up to 250 lbs, strong enough to support nearly anything you can cut on the saw.
